Galaxy Macau

Galaxy Macau is a Casino/Hotel that opened on 15th May 2011 and welcomed 20,000 guests in the first 90 minutes and expect 30-40k guests daily.

Whilst I was at a previous agency, we worked with several companies in the lead up to the grand opening and designed most of their beta website. I designed and created their flash introduction page and multi-effect navigation.

I designed an interactive competition which will be used to promote Galaxy Macau.

The user creates their own ‘wish lantern’ by choosing a shape, colour, and wish. The wish corresponds with different types of facilities at the resort.

The concept of this competition is to be viral and information gathering. The user’s choice of colour and wish is gathered with their name and contact details so that they can be targeted in future Galaxy Macau campaigns and promotions.
